The Real Wealth Equation®

RW = PF x FH x FC x SC

The Real Wealth Equation® was developed in 1996 by Malcolm Ross as a way to visually and systematically describe what we all innately know.

In this equation, real wealth (RW) is a product of personal fulfillment (PF), family harmony (FH), financial contentment (FC), and social contribution (SC). The key to the equation is balance. There is always a higher net real wealth when all four parts of the equation are equal. For instance, if numbers are assigned to the equation like RW = 5 x 4 x 6 x 5 = 600, it would still be less than if the numbers were balanced at RW = 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 = 625. Also, if any of the four factors becomes zero, then naturally the whole product becomes zero and there is no real wealth. This simple equation garnered Investaflex the National Association of Experts, Writers, and Speakers’ EXPY Award. The Real Wealth Equation forms the backbone of our planning in which we first try to understand what the client values before building a plan that will not only minimize tax and create monetary wealth, but will also enable the client to better pursue all four factors of the equation.
